Brief Project Summary:

The brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) has appeared as a major invasive pest of agriculture, as well as homes, in recent years. This pest originated in Asia and is thought to have entered the mid-Atlantic corridor in the mid-1990s. The past few seasons, BMSB populations have expanded, seemingly exponentially, and are now posing major threats to agribusiness in the area. A particularly hard-hit entity has been soybean crops.

Given the explosion of this invasive pest, the absence of approved and safe chemical controls and the damage it has already caused, multiple approaches are needed to mount a coordinated response for effective short and long term control of BMSB. Here, we propose...
