Brief Project Summary:

Saflufenacil, sold as Sharpen herbicide, has proven to be an excellent burndown/pre-plant herbicide tank mix partner for soybeans. Saflufenacil has shown especially good control of glyphosate-resistant marestail when other products have proved less efficient. Soybean varieties differ in their tolerance to this herbicide with injury symptoms noted in some, while other varieties remain unaffected. This project determines these effects and generates valuable varietal information on currently available varieties.
