Brief Project Summary:

The goal of this grant is to support the establishment of a new research program at ISU focused on the biology and epidemiology of soybean fungal diseases. The grant provides funding to support the salary of the PI and a postdoctoral research associate to work on objectives focused on sudden death syndrome, soybean rust and soybean root rot. The research team now consists of two postdocs, three graduate students, two research associates, and four undergraduate research assistants.
