The visions of the soybean breeding program at Purdue University is to deliver new high yielding herbicide tolerant varieties. Most of the new varieties will have Phytophthora and soybean cyst nematode resistance and others will have sudden death syndrome and frogeye leaf spot resistance. Some will have high oil content for improved value and biodiesel processing.
