Final Project Results

SNI Global stays abreast of new topics of interest and importance to soy while also adding to the scientific literature. In FY23, SNI Global finalized and published the soy and skin health clinical trial. In addition, we oversaw the continuation of two other ongoing clinical research studies-- one finished clinical intervention in December and is now in the analysis phase; and one finished recruitment this month. SNI Global translates the scientific evidence to soy stakeholders, health professionals and researchers across the globe through key messages, videos, branded partnerships, blog posts, fact sheets, social media content, monthly e-newsletters, webinars, and at in-person conferences. Communicating with this impactful audience amplifies soy health and nutrition science through trusted and influential voices. SNI Global members and soy stakeholders participated in our bi-annual meetings and contributed scientific and communications activities to leverage U.S. soy checkoff funds. The organization’s global footprint continues to grow. FY23 was the inaugural year for the Scientific Advisory Committees which provide a platform for soy stakeholders throughout Asia, Africa, and Latin America to share opportunities and threats for soy worldwide.

Benefit To Soybean Farmers

Soy Nutrition Institute (SNI) Global continues to be a vital link between U.S. soybean farmers and soy’s role in human health and nutrition by providing a scientific research pipeline that asserts soy’s role in healthy growth, healthy living, and healthy aging. SNI Global provides a platform for partnership among U.S. soybean farmers, nutrition researchers, and soy foods industry representatives. Working collaboratively, SNI Global researches and promotes the health and nutrition attributes of soy protein and oil while enhancing the reputation of soybeans across the board.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
