Brief Project Summary:
This project supports the Soybean Research & Information Network, which delivers practical information about checkoff-funded research to farmers, providing the “411” on soybean research. Many projects explore practices that improve economic and environmental resilience. Other research highlights options for continuous improvement in sustainability. Still other studies seek to increase the value of soy in animal, human or industrial applications. SRIN communicates useful, timely information to farmers through the website, articles, monthly newsletter, videos and social media. It helps farmers find applicable information as they work to improve their economic and environmental resilience.

Project Summary

The USB National Soybean Checkoff Research Database (USB Database), together with the SoybeanResearchInfo.com (SRIN) website, have been instrumental in getting actionable research results-based information to farmers. As states and researchers put real-time research projects, project updates and results into the USB database, the SRIN team can access them and communicate the practical management value of invested checkoff dollars. The requested funds will help reach more farmers in unique ways about the checkoff and research. My goal is to use 5,000 for sponsorship (pooling dollars with all states to reinforce the research message to reach more farmers through marketing tactics including:Farmer videosRunning ads in regional publications about research and SRIN/DatabaseGoogle ad word campaignsMaterials for farmer eventsRadio buys/additional ads for statesThe rest will be used for purchasing state ads in your state publications (money coming back as revenue to your state)
