The overall goal of this project is to help Ohio farmers make informed decisions regarding foliar fungicide and foliar insecticide application on soybean. The objectives of this project are to: 1) evaluate the use of foliar fungicide and insecticide application at two soybean growth stages to control disease and increase soybean yield, 2) assemble data from previously-conducted trials and this project to create predictive models to help farmers make informed decisions regarding foliar fungicide use before the on-set of visual disease symptoms, and 3) disseminate results to Ohio soybean farmers through extension field days and winter meetings.
