The overall goal of this project is to help Ohio farmers make informed decisions regarding foliar fungicide and foliar insecticide application on soybean. Specifically, the objectives of this project are to: 1) evaluate the use of foliar fungicide and insecticide application at two soybean growth stages to control disease and increase soybean yield, 2) assemble data from previously-conducted trials and this project to create predictive models to help farmers make informed decisions regarding foliar fungicide use before the on-set of visual disease symptoms, and 3) disseminate results to Ohio soybean farmers through extension field days and winter meetings.
