Every soybean variety offers a combination of yield potential and defensive traits. Farmers combine that information with performance data to select the best varieties for their fields. Much of this data comes from these variety trials, which screen for many characteristics, like mature seed damange. This project augments these trials with studies focused on planting and fertility best management practices. As products and technologies advance, this research continues to examine accepted management practices to identify potential improvements. It also tests new products and practices to provide unbiased data about what works.
