Brief Project Summary:
Auxin herbicides have allowed greater control of herbicide-resistant weed species, but their future is uncertain. To maintain an understanding of best management practices if these technologies are lost, this research determines the best combination of practices to manage resistance. Trials evaluate weed control with pre- and post-emergence herbicide systems, integrate cover crops with non-auxin herbicide programs and identify best management practices where auxin herbicides are not an option.
