September 15, 2020 Report
We are well ahead of our milestone for project. The major accomplishments for the quarter: Finish the manuscript describing the research results that we achieved in the past year. They included our analysis of 1,500 soybean genomes and development of the biggest SNP genetic resource containing 32 million annotated SNPs and demonstrated approaches for soybean community to access and use the genome sequences generated in the past decade for soybean research and product development. The genetic data were sent to two major web sites to release to the public (soybase and Ag Data Commons).

In addition, we identified a large set of seed quality trait QTL. We are in the process of further analyzing the QTL and preparing the data for publishing.

Final Project Results

Benefit To Soybean Farmers

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
