This project highlights immediately useful production information in a series of short videos. The content includes research-based information provided by NC State that will aid farmers in making management decisions with the potential to reduce loss and increase profitability. The topics will cover a diversity of issues and include relevant NC State recommendations and additional resources. The effort intends to increase the yield potential and profitability of soybean production through rapid dissemination of research-based information to soybean producers by developing and distributing online, timely videos on soybean production and research that will aid farmers in making crop management decisions.

Final Project Results

The “Hot Topic Video Education Series for NC Soybean Producers” project is a series of 15 short videos funded by the NC Soybean Producers Association and developed by NC State faculty and staff. The information was filmed in the field and was intended to aid soybean producers in making timely management decisions with the potential to reduce loss and increase profitability. The videos are posted on YouTube and received 8,116 views in the first year.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years.
