Brief Project Summary:

This project focuses on collecting, testing, and providing results on different suspected resistant weed biotypes in North Carolina. Services of this project include collection of weed samples, development of weed seed collection guidelines for growers to send in samples, growing suspected herbicide resistant weed biotypes out to testable sizes, treating suspected herbicide resistant weed biotypes with appropriate herbicides, summarizing results and developing an online resistance tracker database. The goal is to develop these services, at no additional cost, for growers so they can receive timely answers on resistance and how to manage the weeds.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
