This project supports the soybean variety testing and management program at Penn State, which annually publishes performance information on over 100 soybean varieties and evaluates numerous other experimental soybean lines for use in Pennsylvania. These trials evaluate soybean lines to help producers and seedsmen identify superior lines for production in Pennsylvania, provide data for soybean maturity and agronomic data, provide feedback on the potential of alternative soybean lines, provide a resource for pest management studies and provide yield information. Key Benefactors: farmers, agronomists, extension agents
