Brief Project Summary:

Recent surveys to the farmers in the Southeast indicated that even though adoption of Precision Agriculture technologies have increased, there is still the need for adoption of many technologies an approaches, specially the technologies related to the variable rate application of inputs. In addition, there are still many farmers that don’t use the yield monitor data to evaluate within-field yield variability and design strategies of site-specific management. The development of an Alabama Precision Agriculture Learning network supports training and adoption of technologies and practices.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, Extension agents
