Project Deliverables

• Prevention of redundancy across checkoff research programs through better communication, strategic planning, and coordination of activities.
• Increased coordination of research activities with QSSBs, regional checkoff research programs.
• Development of joint strategies to address key soybean research issues.
• Improved working relationships are established between USB, QSSBs, public research entities, and commercial companies.
• Research goals and milestones are met by USB research teams.
• National survey of soybean disease and insect impact completed to provide direction for future investment in disease and insect resistance and management.
• Two CAST publications are distributed via hardcopy and as free downloads from the CAST website. In addition, one page summaries and narrated presentations are developed and available to the public.
• National Soybean Checkoff Research Database has improved functionality, includes USB research and results and is being utilized by checkoff to communicate research progress.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
