Brief Project Summary:

Regional farmers report success with manure on full season irrigated beans. This research determines which nutrient or nutrients may be causing the yield bump. The project plans to determine whether application of poultry manure results in increased soybean yield on full season irrigated soybean, and then attempt to determine which nutrients may be responsible for any observed yield increases. Small test plots will receive poultry litter and measurements include plot yield, plant height and amount of lodging.
