During 2015, the Mid-Atlantic soybean agronomists formally established a research team with the common goal of evaluating production practices for improving double-crop wheat-soybean production. Practices identified include optimum maturity/variety selection, soybean inoculant, seed treatment, small grain straw management, plant population, row spacing, tramlines, soil fertility and pest management. This project investigates two of these agronomic practices selected by farmers.
