Proper summary of current research efforts will lead to more utility of checkoff-funded research results by soybean farmers. This will assist with getting the message to soybean farmers about what their checkoff dollars are funding and doing for them.
Consolidating summaries of applied research results into a user friendly delivery tool will assist soybean farmers with decision making in areas related to studied inputs.
Improved visibility of research topics and a coordinated summary across University and farmer-initiated research will better address farmer’s questions and significantly help to reduce confusion with trial results.
The DPH student funded with this project will result in a Professional in Agriculture with a focus on soybean production and will have a great breath of experience to serve our industry. The first two years of this project were funding the DPH student Josh Miller.
