1. At least 20 state soybean CEO’s will attend the information session in December.
2. At least 10 states will be identified to participate in the next phase of this program.
3. Grants will be submitted to USB and local soybean boards to support the offering of the RET model in 5 additional states in 2015, 5 additional states in 2016 and 5 additional states in 2017.
4. By 2017, 15 additional states will be offering the RET program to K-12 teachers.
5. Participating teachers will develop soybean-based curricula that will be accessible online and the web portal will connect teachers involved in the project. This outcome will be accomplished through partnership with FLM+.
6. Teachers participating in the RET will adopt soybean as a model system for teaching the science objectives mandated by their school system, as well as maintain the systems level inquiry approach developed during the SSSI.
