Information And Results
Project Deliverables

1. Identification of the source of carbon for non-digestible carbohydrates produced late in development by studying metabolic flux in wild type and oligosaccharide-deficient lines
2. Generation of 3-5 homozygous/near-homozygous RNAi soybean lines that will be studied in year 2 and also can serve as a background for further modifications
3. Molecular phenotyping of 10 lines from fast neutron mutant population to identify a subset relevant to proposal goals and to advance characterization of existing soybean collections
4. 3-5 candidate genes identified from combined year 1 analyses for development of advanced lines in year 2 based on carbon partitioning results and oligosaccharide production hypotheses

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
