Brief Project Summary:

To contribute sustainable soybean production via improved pest management, we propose the following specific research objectives: 1) Obtain baseline susceptibilities to commonly used as well as emerging insecticides in the field in southeast Missouri; (2) Compare selection rates for resistance using mixture versus rotation strategies in the laboratory; (3) Evaluate stability of resistance and number of generations required to return tolerant populations to susceptibility.
