Project Deliverables

Sustained and/or enhanced state contributions, collaborative research programs and projects, and the communication and delivery of research results thorough peer-reviewed journals, grower bulletins, meetings and outreach activities, and general public communications to raise awareness of soybean production and sustainability. The NCSRP Board will meet at least three times per year, fund and track priority research, and support the Plant Health Initiative / Soybean Research & Information Initiative website for communication of soybean news and research results. An outside financial audit will be conducted, research reports will be submitted to NCSRP and to USB, and an annual report of investments will be produced and distributed to USB.

Final Project Results

Achieving the objectives
- The NCSRP Board has met twice and addressed the key steps necessary to accomplish the overall goals of this project. New project will be considered for funding in July.
- Research updates on eleven ongoing projects were presented at the February board meeting.
- The research directors from the twelve North Central states met twice to discuss ongoing research and plans for the upcoming RFP/proposal cycle in their states.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
