Information And Results
Project Deliverables

1. Better coordination of research activities with QSSBs, regional checkoff research programs and development of joint strategies to address key soybean research issues.
2. Reduction of redundancy across checkoff research programs through better communication and coordination of activities.
3. Good working relationships are established between USB, QSSBs, public research entities, and commercial companies.
4. USB provides technical expertise to ASA.

Final Project Results

Achieving the KPIs
• More than six research team workshops were conducted that resulted in changes in project protocols that produced more efficient research
• Three QSSB research planning sessions were supported that resulted in new coordinated research efforts
• Laura Foell, Meal AT Chair, presented the keynote address at the summer annual meeting of the CS-CAP Corn Systems meeting in Iowa to discuss corn soybean system sustainability

Not achieving the KPIx
• Meetings were held with QSSBs at three different venues in an attempt to develop a format for joint strategic research planning among QSSBs, USB and regional checkoff programs, but no acceptable approach was reached due to lack of interest from the QSSBs.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
