Information And Results
Project Deliverables

1) Glyceollin, resveratrol and lignin accumulation in new transgenic plants will be measured.
2) Selected transgenic plant and “hairy” root lines will be challenged with a representative panel of soybean pathogens to determine impact on pathogen colonization.
3) The ability of soybean pathogens to degrade lignin, glyceollin, and resveratrol in transformed plants and “hairy” roots, and the degradation products will be determined.
4) We will prepare at least two manuscripts based on results generated in this project.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
