1. Map the loci containing Rsp2, Rsp3 and Rsp8 genes from each resistant parent.
2. Use expression data to identify expression candidate resistance genes.
3. Use virus induced gene silencing (VIGS) to assay the function of these resistance genes in response to Phytophthora sojae infection.
