Information And Results
Project Deliverables

1. Germplasm lines with very high sucrose (>10%) for use in feeding studies.
2. Increased seed of marker-verified near-isogenic lines (NILs) for the stachyose gene mutation F8:11), which are useful for physiological, animal feeding,?(V99-5089 x Essex; and genotype x environment studies.
3. Knowledge and information on the nature of interactions among genes controlling stachyose, phytate and seedling emergence.
4. Germplasm with stacked genes for meal traits.
5. Breeder friendly markers.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
