This project will combine two ongoing projects (funded in 2010 and 2011), one of which was designed to look at planting date x row spacing x seeding rate over six Illinois sites, and the other to look at the effect of novel inputs - inoculants, growth regulators, micronutrients, etc. - on soybean yield.
Results of these studies will be used to identify those treatments that produced responses in separate trials. Combining these treatments will allow us to see if these factors interact to produce consistent yield increases.
