Brief Project Summary:

This project will achieve the desired outcome of increasing oil and/or protein levels and amino acids. Studies involve measuring the effect of several management practices on oil and protein concentration.

Additionally, this project directly relates to soybean management practices. Several management practices will be evaluated in the Omission Trials including Rhizobia inoculant, nitrogen fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide, gypsum, and manganese foliar fertilizer. In the Statewide Survey of Yield-Limiting Factors, approximately 60-70 farms will be part of the research project with a variety of management practices including continuous soybean production, irrigated soybean, no-till,...
