This project would use the resources available from the Variety Informational Program for Soybeans (VIPS) database to determine varietal characteristics and growing conditions that affect levels of crude protein in soybeans. The project will also determine how removing the lower yielding varieties will increase the average yield of varieties that remain.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
