This project is directed at using insect-resistant soybean varieties to reduce insect damage and increase soybean yields, specifically kudzu bug. The long-term goal is to identify specific factors in soybean varieties that can be used to preserve yield in the face of increasingly drought-stressed plants under increasing insect pressure.
