Brief Project Summary:

Export customers value high protein beans and producers require high yielding varieties. The investigators combine the favorable high protein genes from two unrelated soybean breeding lines to produce a breeding population of genetically variable lines, then select high yielding lines with above average seed protein content. The goal is the release of a high protein / high yielding variety.
