Several new weed control technologies are currently under development for use in cotton, corn and soybean that will directly impact soybean production. Companies may develop additional sources of herbicide resistance, stack resistance traits, and expand mechanisms of action. These new technologies will produce some new challenges that have never been faced before. These concerns will include rotation restrictions, impact replanting of crops, off target depositions and control of volunteer crops in soybeans. This study will investigate these new problems and develop management options for minimizing the potential problems.
