This project is a continuation and modification of 2012-2014 Extention projects. Since 2004, IPM assessment results indicated that ~90% of farmers were concerned about weed resistance developing on their farms. By 2013, over 65% were positive their farms had glyphosate-resistant weeds. The goal is to empower farmers to take control of their inputs and develop management strategies to mitigate herbicide resistance, such as implementing robust herbicide systems, developing long range plans, and incorporating cultural controls. This project will also prepare, develop, compile and update publications, posters, and web-based videos on soybean cyst nematode (SCN), herbicide resistance management,...
Updated recommendations and educational materials for integrated weed management, management of herbicide resistant weeds, and SCN.
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
