Brief Project Summary:

This project is seeking funding for the development of commodity and special purpose (food grade) soybean varieties for the various maturity zones in Minnesota. In addition to high yield the varieties may contain resistance to production hazards (diseases, insects and abiotic stresses) while maintaining average or above average protein and oil content. The special purpose varieties, in addition to acceptable agronomic characteristics, may also vary in seed size, seed coat and/or hilum color, protein and/or soil content, oil and/or fatty acid content, sugar and/or sucrose content, and other compounds in soybean seed. Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years.
