Soybean aphids continue to be a serious insect problem to soybeans in Minnesota. This project will complete the 2nd year of research, which is designed to determine the compatibility of aphid resistant varieties and insecticidal seed treatments with biological control of soybean aphid. A secondary objective will continue to investigate the use of Asian parasitoids for controlling soybean aphid infestations. The research team will focus on strategies to improve the establishment of Asian parasitoids in Minnesota.
