This project will provide an opportunity for Illinois soybean farmers to send us suspected glyphosate-resistant weed or seed samples and subsequently screen these samples during the winter months for the occurrence of glyphosate-resistant biotypes. By intensively surveying fields and collecting samples of suspected glyphosate-resistant weeds, including waterhemp, giant ragweed, common lambsquarters, and Palmer amaranth, we anticipate locating additional populations of glyphosate-resistant weeds.
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
