The focus of this project is to compare the effect of long-term use of "low rate high efficiency" programs on residual soil nutrients. Four separate field studies will be conducted to develop information that compares the use of several "low-rate high efficiency" fertilizer programs to traditional fertility programs that have been recommended by the University of Maryland. These traditional programs have been based on soil testing and fertilizing according to the results of the soil tests results.
