Brief Project Summary:

This project will continue to address information gaps about the biology, potential impact and management of phytophagous stink bugs as an economic pest to Maryland's soybean production. The project will investigate marmorated stink bug infestations in soybean fields in Maryland; evaluate the efficacy and timing of registered insecticides for control; and develop educational resources for extension educators, soybean growers and crop advisors to identify this pest and learn about control options.
