Brief Project Summary:

This project will emphasize the area of disease forecasting and yield loss assessments. Each year diseases reduce yield and quality of soybeans produced in Louisiana. Research is needed to better understand the impact of diseases; measure diseases losses over time; measure the effectiveness of fungicides; and to develop effective disease management strategies that use a combination of genetic, cultural and chemical control methods.
