Soybean cyst nematodes (SCN) remain the most serious disease threat to soybeans in Kentucky. In previous studies, a strobilurin foliar fungicide applied at the early pod stage (R3) could limit yield losses caused by SCN. In these studies, yields were increased by 4-5 bu/ac when Headline (a strobilurin fungicide) was applied in the absence of fungal disease pressure and SCN pressure was moderate.
