The objective of this project is to mitigate the yield loss associated with Phytophthora root rot by the effective use of existing and emerging disease control strategies. To accomplish this goal, growers need to be aware of the characteristics that define soil populations of the pathogen Phytophthora sojae, and the impact of environment and production practices have on these characteristics.
