Brief Project Summary:

The VIPS seeks to provide timely information on yield, composition, and disease and pest resistance for soybean varieties relevant to Illinois producers. The purpose of this project is to evaluate soybean varieties - relevant to Illinois soybean growers - for yield, protein and oil composition, and disease and pest resistance, among other agronomic characteristics, and to provide the findings to stakeholders through the VIPS website, www.vipsoybeans.org.

Selected varieties entered in the University of Illinois Soybean Variety Testing Program will be evaluated for SCN, SDS, Sclerotinia stem rot (white mold), Phytophthora root rot, Soybean mosaic virus, and soybean aphid resistance....

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years.
