Brief Project Summary:

This project involves managing the Varietal Information Program for Soybeans (VIPS). The tasks shall include managing entries of producer-nominated varieties, disease screening, variety composition analysis, and administration to ensure that VIPS includes varieties preferred by Illinois soybean producers; assuring that all varieties are in the Illinois Variety Trials are analyzed for protein and oil content; and making sure the data gets into the database and on the internet site.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years.
