Brief Project Summary:

Recent higher soybean seed costs have increased grower interest in reducing seeding rates in order to maximize economic returns. Therefore, growers must insure they can have favorable seeding efficiency in a variety of field conditions. The goal of this project is to determine the best management practices to minimize negative impacts of corn residue prior to planting soybean in no-till systems.
