The objective of this project is to collect immigrating soybean aphids at eight locations in Illinois and to distribute this information every week to researchers, extension personnel, growers, consultants, and industry personnel in Illinois; to document overwintering egg deposition on buckthorn in Illinois and assess the potential impact on subsequent populations of aphids during the growing season; and to release Binodoxys communis into field populations of the soybean aphid to establish a population of this natural enemy.
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
