Project Deliverables

We plan to develop two to three manuscripts. The main deliverables of this proposal are related to the interpretations of the current body of data that we collected in the 2011 and 2012 growing seasons. These interpretations will be written for publication in journals such as Crop Science, Field Crops Research, and Soil and Plant Analyses. The nutrients will be grouped for publication as follows:
• Phosphorus and Potassium
• Calcium, Magnesium, and Sulfur
• Micronutrients

We plan to update extension publication(s). The nutrient manuscripts will be distilled and presented for growers and crop professionals. More modern cultivars (i.e., more recently released cultivars) will be the foundation for the updated nutrient accumulation curves and proportions.

Cross reference current nutrient sufficiency ranges of soybean with the seasonal values observed at V4, R2, R4, and R6 in our study.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
