Information And Results
Project Deliverables

1. Map quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for low RFOs, higher sucrose and low trypsin inhibitor using four RIL (recombinant inbred line) populations. These populations were developed using the new sources for the above traits discovered in PIs lab.

2. Develop breeder-friendly DNA markers for use in marker-assisted selection.

3. Select breeding lines with low raffinose oligosaccharides, high sucrose and low trypsin inhibitor from mapping and breeding populations for germplasm release.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
