Project Deliverables

1) Develop at least 1000 new lines with 40 chromosomes derived from Glycine tomentella PI 441001 x Dwight
2) Identify and confirm additional genetically stable lines with 42 chromosomes,
3) Screen 1000 derived lines with both 40 and 42 chromosomes for resistance to SCN HG types that can infect Dwight, which has resistance from PI 88788, and
4) Determine the range of HG types for which PI 441001 has resistance.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
