The overall objective of this project is to prevent Palmer amaranth and waterhemp from being any more of a problem in Ohio than they already are, by minimizing the number of new infestations and improving management of existing infestations. Specific objectives within this include maintaining an up-to-date assessment of the prevalence and distribution of waterhemp and Palmer amaranth in Ohio, providing resources that facilitate their prevention, identification and management, serving as a resource for growers and agronomists, and ensuring that growers have accurate information on the resistance characteristics of populations in their operation.Key Benefactors: farmers, agronomists, extension agents
